What do you think the film is about and what might the story line be
What genre do you think the film belongs to
Who do you think is the target audience

I think the film is set way into the future and the main character is on the run for committing a crime and some type of military force is hunting him down throughout the movie.

I think the film genre is most definitely action/Sci-Fi as by looking at the poster it looks very futuristic and you can even see some sort of floating vehicle in the centre of the poster. Also because of the flashing lights it gives off that Sci-Fi look. Also the font of the title blade runner is in a very futuristic way.

I think the target audience is mostly male and definitely teenagers as the film most probably includes many action sequences and gives off the futuristic feel that will engage young viewers like teenagers straight away.

From analysing the poster I think the film is about a group of college students who are put in horror like situations but with a twist as there is a lot of comedy involved as the review 'Absolutely hilarious' suggests.

The genre I think this movie belongs to is definitely comedy as the poster clearly tells us with the use of the review up top and the central image which is the actors all with weird looks on their faces and one is even seen with popcorn on his head which implies the comedic aspect of the film

I believe the target audience is for teenagers and young adults as the poster tells us it is mainly comedy which all young people enjoy as they like to have a more positive and joyful view of life. Also the big block like font with the funny face replacing the O in Movie would clearly not be aimed for a more adult audience but for younger people.

From looking at the poster i think the film may be about a man in search or in need of something and from looking at the clothes he's wearing he may be homeless or something along those lines and really in need of money which he may achieve by the end of the movie which would create the usual happy ending.

The genre this film belongs to in my opinion would probably have to be 'adventure' because of the title as it is most probably the main characters name and when the title is the name of a character is usually means they are on some sort of mission to maybe find their true selves or the meaning behind something or maybe just trying to reach their end goal. I also think the genre is adventure because of the central image of him over-viewing some sort of city district as if he has to reach some goal.

I think the target audience for this film is adults because of how it has a more darker tone and how the poster shows no sign of light and looks almost depressing which younger audiences will not be interested in at all whereas it would be more appealing to adults

Image result for i'm not scared poster
From viewing this poster I think the movie may be about the young boy pictured in the poster travelling to an underground place where he must face his fears to save somebody or something. He might be going against supernatural beings that you wouldn't see in the real world at all

I think that the film may have two genres which I think are horror and adventure because of the title 'I'm not scared' showing that there will be something horrific featured that the boy will have to face. Also the reason I said adventure is because of the fact that he is peering down a hole in the ground
that he will most likely be travelling down leading him to another place underground.

I think the target audience is for 16 to 25 year old as they are the age range that are enjoy horror films as it gets the adrenaline pumping for them and they love to watch something engaging for them
as there will always be the suspense of not knowing what will occur throughout watching the whole film.
                                                                    Film Poster 5

I think Sin City is a movie about a city full of crime and crime bosses trying to enforce their own law onto others and that there is also a mafia aspect involved too as there are probably many illegal gangs working in silence to take out anyone that opposes them. There also may be a mystery, e.g somebody has died or gone missing and maybe the main characters is trying to figure out what has happened to said person. I also feel like there is a lot of use of action and enigma codes throughout the film as there will most definitely be a lot of guns fired and killing and also the mystery of not knowing what will happen next. I also feel there may be a multi-stranded narrative because of how there are many characters featured on the poster which.

The way the poster shows people dressed in dark clothing and a man wearing a suit and weapons being wielded as well as the dark colour scheme tells me that the genre of this film has to be crime and also action.

The target audience for this would be mature adults as the film is set in a older time period that they may recognise or enjoy watching and that the poster just straight away tells you that it is not aimed for children as a children's film wouldn't be gritty or involve much or any violence whereas a film for adults would most definitely use these themes.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (2006)
                                 Film Poster 6
From viewing this poster I believe that the movies plot involves the main character Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) adventuring in this instalment to find this sacred thing that may be inside of the 'dead mans chest' but there are many other pirates also trying to reach it causing battles between each other. This creates many action sequences and also by not knowing what the chest is nor whats inside of it creates enigma codes as well as the viewer will stay thinking what it could be.

The genres that I have inferred from examining this poster are action, adventure and fantasy. This is because in the poster it is clear that there are ships sinking from fighting each other which shows the action and the fantasy is that there are many unrealistic foes like talking squid men etc. Finally I picked adventure because there is a clear goal which is the chest which our protagonist is searching for throughout the film

The target audience for this film in my opinion would have to be teenagers aged 13 to probably mid 20's as the film also has a comedy aspect mixed in with the adventure which all young audience enjoy as it may also be a way of escapism from the real world for them.

Bride And Prejudice [2004] [DVD]                                                                               Film poster 7
From viewing this poster I can infer that the story-line will have to do with the male and female on the poster will be planning and getting married but it wont be easy as they think as there might be problems that may emerge from a turning point between the two families or the couple themselves but by the climax the two become happily married and there are no problems unless it ends on a cliffhanger which would lead to a sequel. Also by having the word prejudice in the title infers that somebody from one of the families pre-perceives somebody from the other family in a negative way which causes problems.

The genres I think are included in this film are romance comedy and drama/ This is because the review up top states how it was 'spectacular, romantic, funny and so sexy' which are clear indicators of what the film will be like before you even watch it. I also get the feeling that there might be a musical aspect to this film as well throughout the entirety of it as the '&' in the title is shaped to be a musical note.

The target audience for this in my opinion is mature adults e.g 30 to 50 as dramas and musicals are more appealing to the old generation whereas the younger generation are more into films and shows that are action packed and also adventure.

Clint Eastwood, Morgan Freeman, and Hilary Swank in Million Dollar Baby (2004)                                              Film Poster 8
From examining the poster my thoughts on this films' plot is that the woman pictured in the middle is training hard to become a professional boxer but isn't at the level she wants to be so she must go out and seek guidance from a boxing trainer, maybe the one pictured on the right but he is reluctant to train her for some reason, maybe because she's a female and because of the stereotypical representation that women cannot fight he refuses to be her trainer. But the turning point will be that she has proven herself to him and he recognises her as true talent and trains her forming a close bond through student and teacher. Which will then lead to the final act of the movie where she gets into her first professional boxing fight which she wins. Also, the reason I recognise that it is the boxing film is because of the clothing she is wearing and how her hair is tied into a ponytail for boxing.

The genre i think this film belongs to is drama because there will obviously be dramatic sequences for instance there might be a compilation of her intense training like in Rocky which will most definitely be intense and dramatic to watch. I also say drama because of how serious the poster looks. All straight faced and very darkened showing it will not be light-hearted and will include intense scenes.

The target audience for this in my opinion would probably be people in their twenties to early thirties as many could relate to having to go through certain hardships to achieve their goal. I also say this because drama films are more so intended for older audiences who will be more gripped into the narrative and wanting to desperately know what'll happen next.
